Cambodia is one of the beautiful countries in Asian continent.This country is situation in east part of the continent and in peninsula of Indochinese.The boarder countries for Cambodia are Vietnam on the east and south and Thailand and Laos on the north. In the western coast there is Gulf of Thailand. In the east, there is Mekong River and a large alluvial plain ringer by the mountains. The natural storage Basin of Mekong River is a wonderful lake; the plain is centered with this lake.

When it comes to Cambodian history,you need to know about the Khmer history.The tradition,culture and history are basic important tasks to this Khmer history.This Khmer people created the capital of Khmer history.This capital has so many great legends in Khmer history.There is a epic history behind this capital, that one old lady is collecting firewood from the river.One day,she is trying to catch firewood in the river, there she saw four statues in that tree, one them is lord Vishnu and remaining are Lord Buddha.After that she understood that she has blessed by the god. After the administration by the great king this city has become the hub of Cambodian commerce.This capital was grown till Nineteenth century,the capital comeback to old one under the dynasty of King Rule. Until,this city was used to out side trading of the country.From mid nineteenth century this city has developed rapidly by adding banks, courts,health services, and schools.

Now a day lot of people around the world called this city as a Pearl of Asia. With the construction of national Museum, Railway and Airport the city is still growing. The city continue to expand quickly, wetlands had to be filled in to allow expansion westward.Almost five decades back, the Cambodian has got independence from the France. This revolution helped Khmer people to reform their culture and history. These people are happy, because they built their own shop houses and felt free to express their culture.

However, in 1970 these Khmer people are engaged into war against the communist government.The people of Khmer named their movement as Khmer Rouge.These people made this city as a capital filled with refugees and demanding the Khmer people to evacuate.These people are destroyed everything to survive their culture.

After a decade,the neighbor country Vietnam helped these Khmer people.However,the Khmer people are not able to recover them self from this genocide. Lot of Khmer people are scared about these terrible vents.After that these people recovered their culture and now these people are trying to grow their population.From the Decade,these people are getting world wide popularity because of their architecture and historic in fractures.
