Abhilasha is a music festival organized by The Abhilasha Group to appreciate the talent dwelling in the city of Nawabs, Lucknow. Abhilasha is one of the best music shows in colleges and has left a mark in the hearts of youngsters. The beauty of the event combined with full-fledged exposure in the field of music is something that makes it unique.

Abhilasha 5.0- Rock, Roll n’ Rise will function on the Rock theme while Roll and Rise will complete the picture by incorporating participation leading to accretion!

In desire to become one of the best music shows in India, the Abhilasha Group has been organizing this music competition since 2008 in Montfort Inter College. The participation involved in the event has been majorly of kids between the age-groups 16 years to 25 years. The singing competition is judged by renowned people of music and film industry like Mr. Gaurav Dagaonkar, Mr. Abraham Kumar and Mr. Suresh Srivastava. The winners of Abhilasha are given a chance to record a music album.

The events taking place will be:

• Solo Singing clubbed with dancing

• Ad-mat

• LEAD BAJAA! (Online Contest on Facebook)

Solo singing clubbed with dancing is to widen the scope of competition, adding a new flavor to regular singing competitions. There will be one person on the vocals and the dance crew will move to the rhythm.

Ad-Mat is the add-on to the old list of events where the school-team will be given a brand’s name and the students will have to make a 2-3 minute advertisement skid on it.

LEAD BAJAA is one and a half month online campaign for the music lovers of Lucknow, who can be of any age-group. The contest leaves an open scope to all types of musicians and vocalists. The participant is required to compose a lead on the rhythm provided on the abhilashamusic.com website and record a video and share it with them. The winner stands a chance to perform live during the main event and win Fender’s Acoustic Guitar.
