Both she and her fiancé (now husband), Chris, met with Wolfgang three months before the wedding for an engagement shoot. Brittany had heard about Wolfgang through a friend, but because of the amount of wedding photographers in the city, she wanted to do a "test shoot" to see if A Day of Bliss was a good fit. This is her story.

Article:

I live in New York City, one of the most sensational places on earth. People come from all over the world to be here. This certainly has its perks. For one, you have options. If you want great Italian food, there are hundreds of choices within five miles of where you live. If you need a wedding photographer, the same thing applies. If you search Google for "wedding photographer" thousands of names pop up. It was definitely a good thing, but a little overwhelming at the time.

A year before Chris and my wedding we went through tons of websites trying to find the right person. I didn't want a standard wedding photographer, one that would take the typical boring shots where people look uncomfortable. I wanted something different. In my search I discovered something called ...
... "wedding photojournalism." My friend had recently been married, and told me about A Day of Bliss. When she showed me her photos I knew that's exactly what I wanted, the pictures she had were like a storyboard. I felt that by looking at them I was looking at a memory, it was that vivid.

Still, I'm a natural skeptic. Her pictures were beautiful but I never have been one of those people just to dive into things arbitrarily. I'm a planner. I called A Day of Bliss and spoke to Wolfgang, and he told me about a wedding photo package that included the Engagement Photos. I figured, why not? It would give me a chance to meet him and see if we could work together.

It was a bright day in March when we scheduled the Engagement shoot. I labored for hours over my outfit, much more nervous than I expected. Chris kept laughing at me, saying that if I was this nervous about the Engagement photos think how much I would be on the big day.Yet, despite how nervous I was, when I met Mr. Freithof my fears dissipated. Within ten minutes of starting the shoot I began to calm down, and the rest of the time actually turned out to be kind of fun.

What was even more fun was when I got the photos. I do not exaggerate, they were unbelievable! It just gave me so much confidence, and I knew that the photography part of the wedding would be taken care of. This was a great relief to me, because I had a million other things to worry about at the time, and the clock kept ticking down to the big day in the back of my head.

Needless to say, I got married, and I was more nervous than I had ever been in my life. But everything went perfectly. My caterer showed up on time (I've heard horror stories), my parents didn't embarrass me, and of course, my wedding photos came out absolutely stunning.

I'm telling you, doing an Engagement session was one of the best choices I made, and I am so pleased that I chose A Day of Bliss. I don't think I could've had a better experience.
