In social development, NGOs are playing vital role in the present time. In the era of industrialization, people are becoming detached from art to a great extent. For this reason, initiatives to nurture art and culture has become the main objective to some the voluntary organizations. Though, we have found voluntary organizations in this field since long still, the role have become more prominent nowadays.


As a plant requires nurturing; an artist also requires proper care in bringing out his or her performance in art. Training from qualified art teachers, organizing competitions time to time among the trainees, can bring out the best. This is not one man’s business, requires participation of the community members. A lot of initiatives from the voluntary organizations are being taken nowadays and this is a great ray of hope that dictates that we will find many great artists in the near future.


Continuing Indian tradition in the field of art and culture, nurturing of art has become the felt need of the hour. Government as well as Non-Government organizations need to take part in this holy mission.
