As there are various styles of wedding photography, we can enjoy capturing photos in varied styles and tones. Since most of us are not skilled in photography or do not want to shoulder the responsibility of shooting photos on that special day, we often hire photographers who possess the desired skills and talent to shoot images.

As technology is constantly advancing ahead, we find traditional photography being replaced by photojournalistic photography. Traditional wedding photographers focus on posed portraits, and rarely capture candid moments of marriage. The quality of traditional imagery is usually determined by sharpness, lighting, skin tones, and use of the background. However, this sort of imagery has evolved a lot. It is not what it used to be. Now, it includes more fun and modern marriage shots. Instead of only a posed image of the wedding ...
... standing and smiling, the bride and groom may kiss each other while the bridal party cheers them. That way, traditional photography is now shifted its focus to fun shots.

The modern style of photography called photojournalistic have some similarities with traditional imagery. But both of them look a bit different. Photojournalistic is candid oriented, while the latter is portrait oriented. The goal of a photojournalist is to capture pictures while people are not aware of the fact that they are being photographed. A photojournalist is able to capture true emotions, real expressions, smile, tear, laughter, hugs and many other special moments on the wedding day. He/she will produce more intimate, artistic shots on a wedding. Photos not only look great, but they will also convey the emotions of the day when see them after some period of time of your marriage. Photojournalism means to beautifully capture the real thing, instead of taking posed portraits.
