This all time great series of Asterix graphic novels (comic books) has been authored by Rene Goscinny and Albert Uderzo. Here is the complete collection of 34 Asterix albums published so far. These Asterix albums are about the fun-filled adventures taking place in the time of Gaul and the rule of Caesar.
All titles are full size (8.5" x 11"), 48 pages in length, and translated into English by Bell and Hockridge. They are published by Orion Publishers in London, 2002. The comic books are printed in Italy with high quality glazed art paper. We supply only British versions of Asterix comic books. Many people have expressed preference for the British versions and translators over the American versions.Asterix is a diminutive but fearless and cunning warrior, ever eager for new adventures. He lives around 50 BC in a fictional village in northwest Armorica (a region of ancient Gaulmostly equivalent to modern Brittany). This village is celebrated as the only part of Gaul still not conquered by Julius Caesar and his Roman legions. The inhabitants of the village gainsuperhuman strength by drinking a magic potion prepared by the druid, Getafix (French:Panoramix).
