Body Art Is Considered To Be The Expression Of The Mind

Having inscription done on one’s body is an age old practice all over the world. In fact they are known by very different names; tattoo, piercing, body painting…and so on. Applying lip colors and nail polishes are simply an extension of these practices in modern times. Sometimes these body arts are extended beyond to cover our possessions as well, and a good example is the decals on the cars and other vehicles we see on road. The purpose of having a body art done is to give the owner a unique personality. Most body art cannot be erased by ordinary means. So before you perform a body art think twice, there is no third to think about.
Tattoos are nothing but scars. Scars that are created artificially by inserting a needle that vibrates pretty fast into your skin. To put it in simple words, tattoos are made by sketching out line of the design you want on your skin, piercing your epidermal layer with the needle and inserting a metallic fluid that gives out the color of the tattoo. Henna tattoos have gained immense popularity all over the world in the recent times. Most people like these designs and these designs have great popularity in the western countries. Arabian Henna designs are the best known design in the fashion world.
Nowadays one of the common body arts is body piercing. Many of the youth follow this piercing fashion as a religious practice, self-expression, aesthetic values, cultural and rebel reasons. Some of the forms of piercing are quite controversial and are banned by schools, organization, and religious places. Even though there are a lot of people who are against it, but still it has a large fan following. There have been people who have pierced things through-out their body and found their place in Guinness Book of World records. Seriously, if you have an idea for body piercing, go ahead for it. But make sure to go to an experienced and professional one when you do so.

The ancient kinds of body art were considered very sacred and people realized the significance of having tattoos and painting. For that matter, piercings and its kinds were also considered a part of their traditions. For example, we have heard about some of the tribes in America. They wore rings around their neck, which were totally covered. Hence, this was done to grow their necks long. Nowadays body art is considered a fashion, some of them are not in a proper prescribed manner. Due to this fact there are side effects as well.
