Wedding Photography Capture Moments Not Just Photos
When it comes to planning a wedding there are many decisions that have to be made as regards to where the couple will spend their money. Many couples quickly realize that doing some items themselves, is much more cost effective than hiring a professional. Sadly many couples make this decision when it comes to choosing a photographer for their big day. If you are going to do something yourself, let it be printing up the invitations, or some other small task.
Never cut costs when it comes to photography. Your wedding day is the first day of your lives together, a day in which every single moment should surely be remembered. Every tear, every smile, every emotion. If you only desire for pictures to be snapped, then hiring a friend, or an armature photographer will work just fine, but for your wedding day, its not simply about capturing pictures, its about capturing moments. This is where hiring a professional comes into play.
Professional photographers are trained not only to snap photos of what they think looks pretty. Professionals are trained to capture moments. Yes, professionals capture those special moments ...
... such as the look on the grooms face when he first catches glimpse of his bride walking down the aisle. Professional photographers capture that brief moment when the father has his last look into his daughters eyes as he gives her away. It doesn't matter how good an amature can take pictures, if he isn't trained to capture moments his work is worthless.
A professional photographer takes pride in being able to deliver photos that will create tears in the brides eyes every time she flips through and looks at the memories. The wedding day is often a blur of whimsical bliss for most brides, so much so that much of the happenings go by without the couple even being aware of what is going on around them.
The wedding day is a day full of distractions, often healthy distractions, yet still distractions that take the couples attention away from not being able to focus on any one thing at a time. The photographers job is to make sure that after the wedding is over, the couple can see everything they didn't see, through the lens of his camera. A professional photographer has a heavy responsibility indeed. One that could never be fulfilled by an untrained armature, or friend of the family who has decided they want to get out of giving a wedding gift by offering to photograph your wedding.
So when it comes to cutting costs, it is important to remember that cutting costs when it comes to a professional photographer will not be cutting costs, it will be losing memories. Take it from us, hire a professional.
