Soon Ubisoft will be unloading the first Assassin's Creed 2 patch based on the feedback received from the community. Some users have been experiencing issues during Sequence 11. Ubisoft will be releasing the Assassin's Creed 2 patch 2 to rid the players of that issue. Only single fix is going to be there in Asassins creed 2 patch, so it is very much to be called as a title update than a full patch.

Users expected an Assassin's Creed 2 patch to include freezing fixes, bug fixes and core gameplay changes but it seems no other fix is going to be there. What has been reported is that when you return to the present in sequence 11 If you shut off your console when you start back up you are in the hideout and you can't go back in the Animus.

Ubisoft confirmed last week that they are working to patch a glitch in Assassin's Creed II that has prevented some players from completing the game.

Many users found that if they quit the game and turned the console off immediately after finishing sequence 11 and returning from 15th century Italy to the present day, they were unable to leave. They would simply find themselves ...
... in the present day hideout with nothing happening.

The glitch wasn't confirmed to be occurring in either specific version of Assassin's Creed II so it is assumed that it is occurring in both versions. Currently the only confirmed way to avoid it is to continue playing the game until starting sequence 14 (which immediately follows 11).

Ubisoft posted on its support forums for Assassin's Creed II on November 30th that a patch was coming to fix the glitch.

A similar glitch occurred in every version of Ubisofts' Far Cry 2 which corrupted save files making it impossible for players to finish the game. Ubisoft patched that issue this past summer.

Well Ubisoft has just confirmed an upcoming patch for the game but it doesn't make clear yet when this Assassin's Creed 2 patch will release. You just subscribe to our RSS feeds and we will let you know when Assassins Creed 2 patch comes out.

Check out why there is no Assassin's Creed 2 demo.
