London (just like most cities) does have attractions that may be expensive for large families or families who contain all adults, so it is nice to find free attractions or things to do in around the City. These “freebies” allow tourists to loosen the purse strings for other things they want to try, such as ride the Tube and visit Vauxhall or Vauxhall Park.

The JJ Fox Cigar Museum is a small museum which boosts of having famous customers of the past, including Winston Churchill. On the street is JJ Fox and Robert Lewis, London’s oldest cigar store, founded in 1787. It is one of three surviving St. James Street merchants. It is said Churchill bought his first and last cigars at the JJ Fox and had a special chair designated for sampling them. Other noteworthy facts you may not know: Oscar Wilde was also reported to be a customer and the museum has the oldest cigars in the world on display in the basement.
