When we go to mall; we purchase and load stuffs in our cart, we observe a price tag on every product and on the same tag we find the Bar Code of that particular product. While paying on billing counter we need to take out each and every thing from our cart and put in front of the billing officer and he will keep his RFID machine on Bar Code of every product and the machine will give ‘BEEP’ sound which means that, the machine has recognized and recorded the product details. This system you can find in any small or big shops or shopping malls.

RFID can be found in three types those are inactive, active or battery supported. The inactive or passive tag is small in size and less expensive as it has no battery. The active RFID system has a battery on board and occasionally it transmits ID signals and battery supported/assisted system has a battery on board which activates when the existence of an RFID system. Once you take the system in front of the tag it will get illuminated and transmit the signal.
