Climate change mitigations are the actions to reduce the magnitude of climate change on a long term basis. It includes the activities which helps us to be prepared for disasters, as we cannot directly stop the disasters but we have to be prepared for them like we can reduce the emission of greenhouse gasses. Mitigation can also be achieved by doing such activities which helps to absorb most of the dangerous gasses emitted from factories like carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide etc. e.g. afforestration. Necessary steps should be taken to tackle the effects of and at the same time a we should adapt the procedures which are not increasing the Global warming. The low carbon energy sources such as renewable and nuclear energy should be used .
The main international treaty on climate change is United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(UNFCCC). In 2010 parties to the UNFCCC agreed that future global warming should be limited to below 2.0 °C. But to achieve this target the emission of greenhouse gasses should peak before 2020 and decline significantly by 2050 almost 30-50% compared to 1990 levels.

... are many bodies which help in environment conservation process and one the largest body is Global Environment Facility( GEF) it unites 183 countries in partnership with international institutions Civil Society Organizations (CSO) and private sector to address Environmental issues while supporting national sustainable development initiatives. GEF provides grants to various for projects related to environmental issues. Fiinovation is associated with many organizations in India who are working towards climate change mitigation.
Around the world different practical actions are being taken to tackle both the causes and effects of climate change including:

Working with different communities to reduce the effects of disasters by keeping prepared for different types of disasters and at the same time not to indulge in activities which are basic causes of these disasters.
Working with other organizations to share our learning .
Working with national and international bodies around the world to strengthen the policies which reduces emission and encourage funding and focus on adaptation to climate change.
Working with schools and teachers to encourage the delivery of effective, and making young people understand the adverse effects.
Launching and supporting campaigns designed to raise awareness about the impacts of climate change on vulnerable communities and enabling them to take necessary steps towards the climate change at local, national and international level.

Over the last few decades we have deteriorated the environment to a very large extent resulting in high climate changes and now is the time to give efforts in trying to change the climate in a positive manner. Fiinovation is working with civil society organizations who are funded through CSR programmes of companies, in mitigation of climate change.
