Balaghat (MP): Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi addressed a huge election rally at Balaghat, in poll bound of Madhya Pradesh as part of his election campaign while addressing the masses Rahul Gandhi stated that BJP is not paying serious attention towards the development of poor and tribal.
He compared Congress with BJP and told the difference between two big parties of the nation. The major difference between two parties as he pointed out is “thinking”. Rahul slammed BJP that it always think for elite class whereas Congress believes in upliftment of poor and tribal which has been the top priority and making such efforts for the welfare but BJP has failed to deliver in the state.
“On one side there is the Congress, and on other is the Opposition. But there is big difference in their thinking. We say this country is everyone's - the rich, the poor, the businessman, the Dalit, women, youth and downtrodden. This country is everyone's.” Rahul Gandhi noted in the rally.
“And the opposition (BJP) says the focus should be on select people. Aam aadmi is not in their mind. They say if a government has ...
... to run, it will run for the rich.” He added.
Congress Vice President also made a statement that centre has made and implemented many welfare schemes and policies for the poor and downtrodden people but here as it shows none of them implemented effectively which results in poor state of Madhya Pradesh and its people getting poorer and poorer and their condition has gone from bad to worse.
“We need roads, airports and railway lines; infrastructure development must take place; we believe in it and the BJP does too. But we also believe that empowerment and upliftment of the people are necessary along with development. We have built 3 times more roads than NDA in 5 years.” Rahul Gandhi said while addressing the huge rally gathered only to hear him.
Rahul Gandhi promised to provide 2 lakh jobs for youth and Food bill and land bill has been a benchmark in his rallies recently. You have a pro-rich BJP government now in Madhya Pradesh. Congress will form a government that works for common man, the youth, the women, the poor, the Tribal and Adivasis. That will be a government for all. So support Congress and help us to form a government of Aam Aadmi he urged and concluded the rally with promise and concern.
