I do not understand what possessed me to shove my Pepper Pen to Shelley just before I went out of the library ahead of her. I just had this dreadful thought she might require this a lot more than I might. I was departing earlier, and along with Maggie. Shelley would need to walk back to the dorm, and it would likely be dark when she headed for home.
