Basestation Obc (on Board Computer) For Truck System

The truck fleeting industry is a really a great place to start when talking about new propulsion techniques. Now the economies scales are so huge and the cost savings from even an incremental upgrade more than justify the expenditures in research and development to get us there. It’s a true fact that new truck technology might not like a glamorous business but it is a multi dollar industry.
BASEstation OBC (on board computer) is a special segment in industrial automation nowadays. This is specifically designed for petroleum delivery fleets. Now this truck mounted computer and back office connection are designed and built by experienced people. Fuel truck OBC is really a unique system that is water resistant and equipped with color touch screen display.
Fuel truck OBC system is also included with compact flash option, smart card and magnetic card readers and USB host device port. So all application software can be custom designed making it adaptable to a wide variety of applications. The system has an optional internal wireless modem for HSPA or EVOD networks. Actually the internal GPS allows this system to be ...
... used for vehicle navigation, or location based permission systems for fuel delivery security.
There are three significant aspects through which you can justify the OBC system.
Complete product Reconciliation process:
OBC system is completely seamless. It has a reliable interface for electronic registers. The experienced professionals have collaborated with the register manufacturers to deliver a high performance link between their register and BASEstation OBC. The loading rack volumes are captured and reconciled against a detailed sales transaction record using database. In cab on board commuter system is user friendly. A detailed delivery ticket is produced for each delivery and an electronic version of every transaction is uploaded wirelessly to the back office.
Superior Product Security:
If an operator ordered with the optional Pro-control2 handheld system the operator is required to scan a customer tank mounted RFID tag prior to pump engagement. This is really an innovative system that a driver can see the customer’s address and account information. It will automatically display as the truck enters the customer’s yard using its GPS and database.
So all these thing happens automatically. The driver confirms the customer location and prepares to make his delivery. He scans the RFID tag attached to the customer’s tank and tag data is sent wirelessly back to the truck that is up to 1000ft away.
There is another option that is absolutely exceptional. If there is any attempt to unload product without a match between database and RFID tag data is red flagged, there is an exception report is generated in the delivery record.
Back Office Integration and Deployment:
Undoubtedly, every fleet operation is different. There are different trucks, different delivery procedures and several back office accounting and management tools. Every BASEstation OBC customer is assigned a dedicated deployment expert to ensure the exchange of data between truck and back office robust and usable. Truly speaking, the professionals have years of experience that are translating truck operational data to accounting and fleet management system.
BASE Engineering designs excellent fuel truck OBC (on board computer) system for different engineering and commercial purposes. Since 1996 over 50,000 BASE systems have been employed around the globe to increase job safety and productivity. As a result of this design effort we have the confidence to offer a four year, no hassle, and replacement warranty on every industrial OBC system we manufacture. For more information please visit http://baseng.com/
