A beach is a heavenly corner where all your worries would evaporate with just a single stroke of the sea wave. Goa, the best holiday destination in India, is home to over 40 beaches and each of them has a unique quality to it. Even though it would be profanity to notch up a comparison between the nature’s most prized treasures, if one tries to compare the beaches of Goa, then these names would tumble out of the closet. They are extremely popular and are favored by most travelers and beach bums. Take a look:

i. Vagator Beach: Vagator Beach is amongst the best places to visit in Goa. Its USP is its triple personality. Vagator is comprised of three tiny beaches, each having a distinguished persona. While one is photogenic, the other is a rocky paradise and the third is known for its Italian appeal.

ii. Anjuna Beach: Anjuna Beach may look quite ordinary if you take only its physical aspect into consideration. But it is the ambience and the history of this place which makes it to the top of the popularity charts. Anjuna has been the fulcrum of the Hippie movement in the 70s and 80s, and is now home to the all-famous ...
... Flea Market organized every Wednesday. It is the real pride of Goa tourism and is compulsorily included in any Goa tour package.

iii. Ashvem Beach: Admittedly, it is one of the less famous beaches. Many of you who haven’t visited Goa may not have even heard of this one. Ashvem is not the beach which everyone visits and this, in disguise, is what makes it a perfect getaway for seclusion and serenity. Its sands are largely less trodden and if you are looking for some quiet time with your spouse, then this is what we would recommend.

iv. Palolem Beach: Palolem Beach has suddenly catapulted to popularity in recent years and has brought Goa tourism big money. The most recommended day for visiting this beach is Saturday when a night party is organized on its shores. If you always wanted to spend a whole night rocking to music on the beaches, then you should make sure that you have a date with Palolem in your Goa packages.

v. Aguada Beach: The best thing about this beach is its Aguada Fort which was one of the highlights of Aamir Khan-starrer ‘Dil Chahta Hai’. It is a history-laden beach with plenty of panorama and serenity to go with it.
