Don't Let Physical Stress Get Your Down - Use These 3 Methods

Physical stress is something that can build up in your body, and you may not even notice it happening. In its early stages, stress can be low key as it effects various parts of your body. Muscular tension, for instance, is often not noticed until it's actually painful. However, at some point, it may manifest as lower back or neck pain. If you want to stay healthy, you'll need to take action. Fortunately, there are ways to effectively handle stress, and we'll be exploring some of them here.
We have plenty of scientific evidence showing that exercise improves the body's response to stress. Tow facts about stress and exercise are important to understand. First of all, your blood will be circulating more during exercise and better after exercise. As you improve circulatory function, various organs and body systems will improve their function levels, such as the endocrine system. All types of circulation will improve the removal of wastes and toxins from your body. Second, when you do aerobic activity long enough, your brain will produce endorphins into your blood. When the endorphin levels go up, your mood will improve and ...
... you'll get what is referred to as the second wind.
People don't normally think of sitting as a stressful activity, but the fact is that it can be. This applies to a large segment of the population nowadays, many of whom work in cubicles. Many freelancers also sit for many hours as they design websites, write and so forth. There are some innovative developments, such as exercise ball chairs and desks where you stand rather than sit as you work. If you are not in the position to buy new office furniture, then simply take a short break every hour. Walk around and stretch for a few minutes at least once every hour. You should also pay attention to your posture and make sure your chair is at the right height relative to your desk. Your chair and posture, as well as taking enough breaks can help reduce the amount of stress caused by sitting.
For the last half century or so, there have been reports of people "curing" themselves by laughing.
Each of these reports came from someone who used humor to help themselves feel better in spite of documented medical conditions. They tracked down anything they could find that was funny and that would help them laugh, like funny shows, movies, books, etc. The goal of this is to help lighten things up by a varying degree, as well as to learn how to relax and to enjoy different parts of life. This might not be the best approach for everyone because some people value seriousness and aren't going to change. Another good reason for this strategy, however, is that it takes your mind off of whatever has been stressing you out. Do the things you need to do to keep the stress you feel from producing physical results.
Physical stress is how your body gives you feedback that something's not right in your life. The more aware you are of stress, the simpler it is to make the necessary changes in your lifestyle. Don't give the symptoms of stress a chance to threaten your health and the quality of your life.
