A floor scale is ground based weighing machine that is designed to measure weight of heavy objects. It has a broad and flat area called as a platform, on which heavy objects are placed. It is more resistant to scratching than a common paint. The Zinc ensures protection of steel from oxidation, even in case the coating gets scratched.

Nowadays the floor scale has digital features. It is linked to a computer where the crucial data can be stored. The digital display board provides fast and accurate readings. The other key feature is the automatic power shut off system that saves power when weighing scale is not in use or the operator forgets to shut it off.
