The pre engineered buildings are actually built based on the basic concepts of mainly three types of structures. During the formation of PEBs, primary structures, secondary structures and various types of cover sheeting’s are connected to each other to form a complete building structure. Now a day and also in the future, steel is more widely used as the main structural material of a pre engineered building instead of concrete or timber. Then the coated clean structures have gone through a series of treatments to ensure that they are completely clean. Most of these coatings can also be used in the roof and walls. These coatings are also found with or without insulation in the market. The addition of accessories such as doors, sliding doors, windows, power ventilation, wall lights and sky lights, roof curbs, roof jacks etc. are needed to finish the building. The composite work base of the pre engineered buildings is known as deck section.

There are mainly two types of prefabricated buildings are found in the market. Those are modular buildings and manufactured buildings. The main difference between these two types of pre engineered building is the manufacture building need not build following the basic building codes as like the modular buildings. As a result the modular buildings are considered as the more secure, more stable and the more durable ones.
