You might be genuinely concerned about losing your job or might be scared that because of your ill health, you might not be able to work in the future. And, in such cases a PPI can be a good way of protecting yourself against any financial burden. However, make sure that you buy this insurance cover out of your will. There are chances that this was sold to you along with the mortgage, loan or credit card you took. If that has happened, then you are victim of mis-sold Ppi and you should go the legal way and file a claim.

Many times the lenders, policy providers and the banks sell this product without informing the buyer about it. And, if you or someone in your family has suffered because of it and paid a huge amount of money, then by all means, you should reclaim payment protection insurance. If you are wondering about the reasons and the benefits of reclaiming it from your bank then know about the following points:

Banks purposely hold up the process and might also blame the patrons: There have been cases, where the buyers have notified their banks about the Ppi being mis-sold to them. However, the later, deliberately ...
... delay their replies. They even hold back the required documents or make an irresistible settlement offer. Sometimes, they, in turn blame the buyer that if the documents are signed, then he must have gone through all the terms and conditions. They indulge in such activities, so that you don’t take the legal recourse. But, remember, if you deter from reclaiming, then the banks keep enjoying with your hard-earned money.

The banks do refute and reject the legal avers: There are chances that when you visit your bank, they might straightaway reject your claim. Many times, they might say that there was no Ppi sold. But, you need to be careful, even if they reject your case, remember that they do so to avoid any legal process and because they don’t want to pay you anything. So, if you think you were victimized, consult an expert notary and get your case reviewed. Even if you bank rejected, you might still have a strong case.

Along with all this, there are chances that your bank might just criticize you for your inquiry or might discourage you. But, don’t let all this bother you. If you think you have already paid enough and were duped by your bank, go the legal way and claim back your Ppi. Remember; never be afraid to ask you bank if you have been paying for Ppi, which you never wanted! And, if you think you have been, then no matter how reluctant your bank is in divulging the details, consult an expert notary and reclaim payment protection insurance.
