During present situation, we can’t seem to function without remote control technology and systems. In modern day living remote controls have virtually become an extra limb that we cannot do without. Early remote controls were not wireless and were in fact attached to cables connecting it to the machines.

However, now the up gradation remote controls used high frequency transmits signals and modern remote control come into existence. These remotes used inferred to send and receive signals. Today the majority of the remotes manufactured are based on this technology; although some manufactures use radio based remotes or those that work with Bluetooth technology.

In present times almost every gadget we own need a remote control for almost very gadgets like huge industrial machines. The day is not far away, when every single gadget we use will need a remote. That is the main reason behind the development of universal remotes, which can control multiple gadgets like crane remote control and be used for almost all the prominent brands. With the addition of these additional features the appearance of the remote control ...
... too has evolved. Gone are the simple remotes that had circular of rectangular buttons on a slim black console.

Now wireless Deadman series Trigger switch radio remote controls are particularly developed for industrial applications requiring positive operator-to-machine contact. A wireless trigger-switch is used to send RF command signals to the pump. Operator is unencumbered by cables and wires normally used in 'deadman' fueling operations.

The system incorporates a secure frequency hopping, spread-spectrum radio link that is virtually immune to outside electrical or RF interference. Operations fail safe shutdown with any loss of signal from transmitter. Rechargeable transmitter delivers 30hrs of continuous use between charges 12/24VDC charger supplied. The system is easy to install and use.

MODEL ASKF100-AC

This Fixed-frequency remote control technology E-Stop switch operates at 433 MHz using two double “A” batteries. Transmitter is energized only when E-Stop switch is activated. Battery test button shows a “low battery” flashing LED on the E-Stop switch as well as on the receiver/controller unit. The operating range of this system is up to 1000ft.

Apart from the daily E-Stop transmitter battery tests and scheduled battery replacement intervals are strongly recommended. The E-Stop transmitters and receiver/controller shut-down will NOT operate when the remote E-Stop transmitter batteries are exhausted.

MODEL DSSF 100-AC

The direct sequence, spread-spectrum remote E-Stop switch operates at 2.4GHz using a rechargeable battery pack. The E-Stop switch and receiver/controller unit are connected via Safe Link a continuous monitoring feature. Any loss of signal connection between the remote E-Stop switch and receiver/controller results in an automatic E-Stop trigger until the signal is restored. High powered E-Stop transmitters have an operating range of up to two miles. Transmitters must be connected to a back-up power supply as the battery pack will operate for only seven days. The backup power can be 12/24VDC, 120/240VAC, and solar powered where practical.

BASE Engineering designs excellent Crane remote control for different engineering and commercial purposes.
