The technology world is brimmed with gossips speculating on the exact launch date of the iPad mini. As many manufacturers have tasted success with 7-incher tablets, it becomes important for Apple to release a product in the category. That’s why we are certain that we will see a 7-incher slate from their stable.

Many consumers are pretty excited about this upcoming device, but we doubt its impact on the market. Apple products are infamous for their insane price tags, and this product will not be exception to this trend. So, we could see the creation of an expensive/premium sub-segment in the 7” category.

Majority of Apple's patrons are feeling stressed by the long wait for the device. But, with the release date not far, we could expect some relief for these tech junkies. But, keep in mind nothing has been confirmed by Apple. The release will coincide with the release of Microsoft Windows Surface. So, get ready to rumble between two technology giants. The possible specs list may include a high resolution (1024 x 768) & 330 PPI display. The slate will also come with the latest version in the iOS platform and improved Facebook integration. Of course, we will also get the Apple maps, but we would be better off with Google maps.
