The biggest news of the day in technology world is the official launching of iOS6, which is nothing but a boomerang initiation from this technological giant. Just with its launching, the expectations of the users started touching the skies and along with fulfilling them, the company has to encounter the competition of Android 4.0 ICS and rather a newbie Windows 7.5. Now what everyone is waiting for is will it be able to defy its Google and Windows counterparts?

Well, its pretty obvious to make a comparison in between these three smart phone operating systems and after going to very detailed and precise digging, what I found out is something like this. All these three operating systems are enabled with the basic features like voice-support, social media integration and other multi tasking application.

Nevertheless, choosing the most omniscient from these two is a tough call.

According to Apple, the new iOS 6 will be integrated with over 200 new applications and features, containing some exciting ones like 3D Maps (Not Google Maps, as Apple decided to use its own map feature), Passbook (to make you able to ...
... store your important documents in a much secure way), Shared stream (just like the share option already available in Android phones) and voice commanding, which allow you to access your phone through voice. Profoundly, we can say its nothing but a iOS version of Android phones, because most of the features entailed in this operating system have a tough of Android.

When comparing iOS6 with Android, there are some features which look over-hyped. 3D map and street view is an example of it as it has replaced Google Maps from its predecessors. The passbook feature, which is first time included in any iOS was already launched with PlayStore. SVoice and Siri are yet other examples which actually provide Android phones an edge over iPhone and iOS6.

Now, if we compare it with Windows 7.5, well its nowhere near to iOS6, or even its previous versions. The smart phone OS will need to travel a long way to give even a bit competition to iPhones, especially when Windows is not so much cherished by the users.

At the first sight, iOS6 seems to be a replicate version of Android, with some over-hyped and improvements. Nonetheless, the only great edge iOS6 has over Androd 4.0 is the global compatibility, as this operating system is compatible with all Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad and iTouch. This is not the case with Android as some fanciful features like SVoice is specifically created for Galaxy S3.

Conclusion is, the winner is iOS 6, just for now! Android is dominating the market and it will keep dominating it, until or unless Apple is not continuing copying it. In fact, soon we can see some better versions of Android phones which will be a big headache for iPhones. Windows and Blackberry are in the market, but they will just play for the third place, at least for now.
