Every year, many of us plan for the marvelous family vacation which just pumps our excitement. Especially when the winter depression sets in, the slight of the snow does makes you feel the chillness down your spine. You end up looking for your heavy jackets, mittens, snow caps, etc.

Some of us think about the various exotic places to escape from the terrible frosty cold. What adds the excitement to this is the transformation that you get to experience before the trip begins. You may start to talk about the various places to visit, the things to take with you and the list goes on and on. Even some of us may start recollecting the memories of the past trips that we had.

I still remember my college trip to Puerto Rico. It was amazing and mind-blowing. The island of Puerto Rico is indeed blessed with many natural attractions and there are great spots for sightseeing. Sometimes you may feel that in order to see all the attractions, it may take you even months to explore and visit them. What I looked for in a vacation was there in my vacation to Puerto Rico. Adventure, relaxation, history, beauty, magical places, ...
... friendly locals; all these will make you feel right at home.

What makes Puerto Rico one of the famous and favorite destinations of the Caribbean? It is simple as it is the most diversified island with unlimited attractions and sightseeing spots in every corner of the island. No other Caribbean island has such a great variety of attractions and places to visit like Puerto Rico.

One thing I realized is that I wasn't short of things to do while I visited the island of Puerto Rico. There were a lot of attractive places to visit. From the adventurous places to the most alluring and relaxing spots; most of them were free of crowds. I still have the unlimited memories that could last for a lifetime from that trip.

While at Puerto Rico, I went to the Porta del Sol‘s uncrowded and splendid beaches. The sunset was breathtaking. Also the best town was the town of Rincon where I had the best surfing experience. Another awesome place is the town of Cabo Rojo where there are the best seafood restaurants. Another beautiful place is the La Parguera which is in the town of Lajas where people were experiencing the natural wonders of bioluminescence.

The best place to see the beautiful and exotic wildlife is the Dry Forest of Guanica, where the greatest population of birds is found. Then there is the Porta Coeli Church which is the ancient church of Puerto Rico. Also there are narrow brick roads which are lined along the old-world styled Spanish homes. You can have a blast of a time driving through the narrow brick roads and will be enchanted with the majestic mountains that run through the center of the island.

Another great destination which I found in Puerto Rico is the island of Vieques. This is the new capital of weddings and honeymoons of Puerto Rico, where you will find pristine and secluded beaches. Vieques will be the cherry on your perfect Puerto Rico vacation. I very much knew that before I leave it would take at least a couple of days to visit this beautiful island. I never felt separated from my dear ones as I was in constant contact with them through my cell phone and plus the reasonable call charges that most home phone service providers had made it possible for my family to contact me daily.

My suggestion is that Puerto Rico is the perfect vacation destination. Puerto Rican natives are very friendly and they will make you feel welcomed. Puerto Rico has the charm of an island and the conveniences and roads that you would find in the United States. It is very easy to get around the island. If you get lost, the helpful residents will be happy to lead you in the right direction.
