b. If a Mohs scale is available, it can measure the hardness of a metal.

c. Inside the gold testing kit, it contains different substances like the nitric acid or the sulfuric acid. When dealing with these chemicals, it is best to use gloves and wear goggles or something that protects the eye because it can irritate and may impair the sight.

d. Take a small sample and pour a drop on it. If the sample dissolves completely, then it is not a genuine gold. If it does not, and the color changes, it is a genuine gold.
