The Blizzard has announced that they will remove the key chain in patch 4.2 and explained why orcs and undead have no paladins.
As for the problem of removing the key chain, players may have some complaints. Blizzard says they are trying to adjust a system to lessen the trouble that key chain brings you. Some useless keys in game will be removed automatically from your stock. As a return, players are reworded with gold equivalent to the value of their keys. Since the opening-service of patch 4.2.2, players must have received a letter with gold. This is the gold which is changed from key chains. Farewell keys! The games have changed much since the addition of key chain in patch 1.11. It was once designed to convenience players to save the UndergroundCity key, task key and other kinds of keys. These keys don’t occupy a place. At that time, the biggest pocket has 18 cases. The pocket is ‘endless’ and helps save the space of players. But game changes. As time goes by, the pocket is becoming bigger and bigger. The design of collectors is different from the previous. In present Azeroth, key chains are not that meaningful. ...
... They just occupy the memory space of computer and visual space of screen. Because of this, Blizzard decides to remove key chains. They will make full use of the memory space. This is a good way to optimize memory space of computers. The Blizzard is introducing a new system in Rage of Firelands. They will try their best to decrease the inconvenience of keys removal. Some useless keys will be deleted automatically, and as compensation, players will get gold. If players have keys of overdue tasks, or keys of deleted tasks, this kind of keys is not available any more. As they are objects in tasks, they cannot be sold and will be deleted. Other keys will be transferred to common item columns. If ur column is to full to put these keys, keys will be put into an extra system in Rage of Firelands. The keys will be reserved to next time when u log on, or when u change ur place (even if u change from America to China). The Blizzard promises to develop new ways to arrange players’ items and reduce the effect of keys removal to a minimum.
As for the question why orcs and undead have no paladins, partly because they are too evil. Even the Holy Light cannot impel them. Collocations of classes and races are added in wow. Players may request that every race can choose its class. Blizzard thinks they are approaching this goal. But players still complain such as why orcs and undead cannot choose paladins. In fact it costs much both in manpower and material resources if Blizzard wants to realize all the collocations of classes and races. And the most difficult, changes and adaptations are to be made in differences between female and male. This is not very difficult, but it means that designers of Blizzard have to do extra evaluations and preparations when designing each suit. What’s more, they have to make the plots reasonable of each edition. Though they want to satisfy players, it is hard to justify themselves in background stories. ‘The orcs and undead are too evil to impel’ this is just a joke. The main reason is efforts that is needed in changes.
