In the promotional campaign for the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S2, the company claims that they have made the best phone ever. Even though it may seem absurd initially considering that one has to consider the Apple iPhone before coming to any judgements, the Samsung Galaxy S2 does seem to have become the greatest smartphone ever in a short span of time. One can see this by looking at the incredible popularity of the phone, which is truly shaking the Apple boffins.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 is a mobile phone that is not to deviating from the design aspect of the previous generation Samsung Galaxy S, but it has some cute touches that make it extremely brilliant. Instead of the metal body seen in the number of high-end smart phones, the Samsung Galaxy S2 is made entirely of plastic in order to keep the weight of the phone low. Samsung seems to have achieved their target with the Samsung Galaxy S2 because the phone weighs only 116 g. This is this is incredible considering that the phone has a 4.3 inch display coupled with the plenty of other features as well. The usage of the plastic body has not only provided the phone ...
... with the capability to have a low weight, but it also makes the phone one of the thinnest in the market.

At just 8.5 mm in terms of the overall thickness, one certainly cannot fault the Samsung Galaxy S2 when it comes to the usage of the plastic body. The 4.3 inch display used in the phone is something that has the capability to provide an even better display experience than the previous generation AMOLED unit used in the Samsung Galaxy S. This is because the Samsung Galaxy S2 will be utilising the much improved Super AMOLED Plus display technology, which is far superior to the retina display and the Super Clear LCD display unit. The presence of the eight megapixel camera at the rear is a welcome addition given the fact that the previous generation came with only a five megapixel unit.

This may have been good at the time of its launch, but it has since then been replaced by a number of more efficient cameras including the 12 megapixel unit offered by the Nokia N8. The presence of the dual core 1.2 GHz processor, though, remains as one of the best aspects of the Samsung Galaxy S2. This processor makes the Samsung Galaxy S2 one of the fastest phones available in the market today and one really has to experience the speed in order to know more about it. This is because there is no other phone available in the market today that can replicate the same kind of performance offered by the Samsung Galaxy S2. This is impressive considering the fact that the phone runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. All these features is certainly make the Samsung Galaxy S2 not cheap at £ 40 per month, but it is well worth it.
