Samsung has been known for quite a number of launches in the mid-range smartphone segment, but their new smartphone will be something that will be close to resembling the Samsung Galaxy S2. Even though you do not get the full HD 1080 p video recording option, you still have the 720 p HD video recording option in the phone. This coupled with the high megapixel count of the camera ensures that the images look extremely brilliant on the phone. The Samsung Galaxy R provides only 8 GB of memory internally, which is a distant memory from the 16 GB and 32 GB options that is provided in the Galaxy S2.

However, the presence of the external memory card support that can be relied upon to increase the memory of the phone to up to 32 GB makes the phone not too bad with regard to the memory department. The Samsung Galaxy R provides the same 1 GHz dual core processor seen in the Samsung Galaxy S2, while the amount of RAM is also same at 1 GB.
