3d Version Of The Best Selling samsung Galaxy S2 Due Soon

Samsungs range of Galaxy models is set to welcome a newcomer in the form of the forthcoming Galaxy 3D. As its name suggests this phone will be the brands 3D model in the range and will join the likes of the superb Galaxy Mini and the best selling Galaxy S2.
The Samsung Galaxy 3D is due to be launched in the autumn of 2011 as looks like it will position itself at the premium end of the line up along with the S2. The new handset looks set to sport a 4.3 inch screen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The obvious highlight on this model is its 3D capabilities and the screen will use stereoscopic technology to enable users to view three dimensional images without the need for glasses. The 3D screen is accompanied by some excellent multimedia features that allow the user to record their own video or capture photographs that can be viewed in 3D. This is thanks to the dual cameras on the rear of the phone with each lens able to realistically capture what your left and right eye would actually see. These images are merged and the result is the 3D material. Still shots can be captured in 8 mega pixel quality for 2D or ...
... a slightly lower resolution for 3D. Video resolution is high at 1080P and the results look stunning on the phones own screen or when transferred to a High Definition television.
Despite the addition of this new model the Samsung Galaxy S2 remains the showpiece phone is this range. The handset boasts the perfect blend of style and specification and it is for this reason that the sales figures for this model have been hugely impressive. Underneath the bonnet the phone offers a lightning fast processor with a speed of 1.2Ghz and dual cores. This processor is widely regarded as the best available and it really does perform admirably even whilst handling multiple tasks at the same time. Connectivity on the S2 also stands out with a multitude of internet connections available. Whilst on the move users can connect to a 3G network when available and even if you do find yourself out of range Edge and GPRS offer worthy alternatives. The best results however can be achieved when connected to a WiFi network with all three speeds of Wireless LAN supported. When looking at the local connectivity options these are equally impressive with the usual suspects of Bluetooth and micro USB lining up alongside the newer WiFi Direct which offers the ultimate in data transfer between devices.
The Samsung Galaxy 3D is a welcome addition to the Galaxy range but the S2 remains the phone of choice. Together these two handsets should ensure Samsung enjoy a very successful second half of 2011.
The Samsung Galaxy S2 and the Nokia E6 are available now.
