There are three inventions (in the form of devices) which have made the work of caring for lawns much easier. In other words, without these devices, caring for lawns would be a nightmarish undertaking. But thanks to these devices, we end up with a situation where one can engage in lawn care without getting too tired, and without expending too much time. Therefore, there are two ways in which the inventions we are just about to explore have made lawn care easier: first by making it less tiring, and secondly by making it less time consuming. Worth of special note is the fact that there are still people (especially in the less developed parts of the world), who often have to undertake lawn care without the benefit of help from these devices. Needless to say, lawn care under those circumstances becomes nightmarish work.

Without further ado, the three inventions which have made lawn care substantially easier include:

Indeed, the truth of the matter is that many people who own lawns today wouldn’t be owning them if lawn mowers didn’t exist: as the work of trying to keep the grasses in kempt state would be simply too much, and not worth the effort. 2. The sprinkler: this makes the work of irrigating lawns much easier, and considerably less time consuming. The reality of this world is that there are very few places where the amount and frequency of rainfall is good enough for people to establish lawns without irrigation. There are actually many dry places where lawns are almost exclusively grown through irrigation. Without sprinklers, people would have to irrigate lawns using those crude ‘irrigation cans.’ Needless to say, this would be punishing work. When your lawn is being supplied with water using a sprinkler system, you never get to know just how much water goes into sustaining it. But a person attempting to sustain a lawn using a crude watering can would tell you that it takes numerous trips to wherever the water is being fetched, to give the grasses just enough water to survive on. Trying to go the extra mile and actually come up with a lush lawn using this approach would be virtually impossible. And then again, you have to keep it in mind that the sprinkler mimics natural precipitation (rain) in the way it supplies water to the grasses. A crude watering can won’t do this – which means that the lawn irrigation ends up being done in a poor way.

3. The mechanized sprayer: this makes the work of lawn pest control both less time consuming, and less tiring. Without the sprayer, lawn pest control would be a pure nightmare.
