Dreambox 500C and Dreambox 500S may look similar in appearance but the properties of both vary a lot. Dreambox 500C is a small digital Linux Set-Top Box based receiver with card sharing function whereas, Dreambox 500S is a small Linux satellite TV receiver with 1 x Smartcard-Reader.

Let's first talk about Dreambox 500C. It has many different skins which when applied makes the user experience completely customizable. And the way of installing Dreambox 500C is very simple.
