The success of the touchscreen mobile phones has given LG the necessary strength in order to launch the first 3-D mobile phone. The LG Optimus 3D will be the phone that will be coming with 3-D option as standard and it will be the first phone to do so. However, the LG Optimus 3D is not entirely about in the 3-D capability and it has quite a lot of other features as well, which will make it extremely user friendly in the other departments. The new phone, however, will be the talking point for other companies and the media alike due to the latest technology that it comes with.

The LG Optimus 3D is undoubtedly a phone that will be taking LG to the next level and this is partly due to the presence of a 4.3 inch touch screen display that will be having 3-D capabilities within it. The best thing about this display has to be the fact that it will not be requiring any special 3-D glasses to be used for getting the 3-D effect. One can use the naked eye itself in order to get the 3-D effect from the screen. The need for special 3-D glasses would have certainly compromised on the portability of the phone and one really has to praise ...
... LG for launching a phone with such credentials. The touch screen display will be displaying the latest user interface from LG that has been specially made with the 3-D mobile phone in mind. The phone will be having the usual goodies when it comes to the display department including the likes of the accelerometer and a proximity sensor.

The LG Optimus 3D will be coming with a vast internal memory of 8 GB and it is going to be supplemented by the presence of external memory card support. The maximum possible memory that one can add in the LG Optimus 3D by using external memory cards is 32 GB. The dual five megapixel camera in the phone is another great invention that other manufacturers can only look forward to having their phones. This dual camera will be capable of recording the 3-D content apart from playing back them. This is a feature that is not present in many of the high-end digital camcorders and to be getting this in a smart phone that can do quite a lot of other things as well is certainly amazing. The LG Optimus 3D's camera will be capable of 1080 p video recording as well, although it will be done only at 2-D mode.

The LG Optimus 3D will be coming with the 2.2 version of Android, which is capable of being updated to the 2.3 version of Android. This is easily possible in the LG Optimus 3D due to the presence of a dual core 1 GHz processor. The LG Optimus 3D is all set for launch in the United Kingdom and is currently available for a pre-order price of £ 515 in the UK.
