Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Has Taken Note Of The Incredible Success
Samsung has finally unveiled the real competitor to the Apple iPad after it failed to a small extent with the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Tab had quite a few features in its arsenal, it badly needed a better screen. The 7 inch display of the original Galaxy Tab was nowhere near the 10 inch display of the Apple iPad. Even though he provided significant improvements in the portability and user friendliness, it sadly did not come close to the Apple iPad when it comes to the entertainment, which is the main reason for buying a tablet PC. Enough to make a real competitor, Samsung has gone back to the drawing boards and has introduced a 10.1 inch screen amongst many other features into the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be coming with a 10.1 inch display as the name suggests. However, the name does not suggest the other features of the tablet PC. This touch screen display will be incorporating the capacitive technology and will be supporting a maximum resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels. This high ...
... resolution has meant that the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be able to compete on all fronts and not just the screen size. The touch screen display of the new tablet PC will be running the Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system. This is one of the significant features that have been updated in the latest version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. This new Android operating system has been exclusively designed in order to fit within the confines of a tablet PC.
It has been designed in such a way that it will be able to work without any hardware buttons, which is the real special feature about the Honeycomb OS. All the hardware buttons have been eliminated and in its place will be the software buttons. Apart from providing clean and smooth user interface, it has also reduced the cluster of buttons that are normally used in touch screen tablet PCs. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be packing in a dual core 1 GHz processor that is more than sufficient for running of the new operating system. Instead, most of its processing power will be shifted into running the high-end applications that will be stored in the tablet PC. It has been for long the home ground of Apple, but Samsung has finally caught up with the American company.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is expected to be offered in two different memory options, which can be a useful thing as it would help reduce the cost of the tablet PC. Users who are willing to sacrifice some of the entertainment for a lower price can choose the 32 GB memory option, while there is also the 64 GB memory option in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, which is going to be launched in the United Kingdom within a few weeks, probably alongside Samsung's new top-of-the-range smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S II. The price of this device has not been revealed. You may also wish to explore more about Samsung Galaxy S II for other available deals.
