The smart phones of today seem to be stagnating a little bit after that has been no significant introduction in latest technologies into the portfolio of mobile phones. However, the launch of the LG Optimus 3D could finally bring some excitement into the segment that has witnessed slow growth in the past few years. This new phone is going to be the most desirable phone for at least a few years from now mainly because of the fact that it is going to be providing 3-D content in front of your eyes, whereas you latest LCD television cannot.

The LG Optimus 3D will be coming with a 4.3 inch display that finally matches up with the HTC Desire HD in terms of size. However, when it comes to the features of the touch screen display, the LG phone goes streets ahead of the HTC one. This is because it will be using the 3-D technology, which will be not requiring any glasses in order to get the 3-D effect. So, with your naked eye, you can get the same 3-D effect that you used to get from the highest LED television range. The usage of the display that can accommodate 3-D content has given a whole new dimension to the mobile phone. With ...
... the LG Optimus 3D, you will be able to enjoy the best of 3-D content across a wide range of platforms like movies, games and much more.

The LG Optimus 3D is not only capable of displaying the 3-D content, but it is also capable of recording them as well. This will be possible because the phone has a dual five megapixel camera at the rear. This is the first time that dual cameras are appearing in a mobile phone and they will be able to take 3-D images. They will be also able to shoot the 2-D content normally. The maximum resolution that the phone can shoot videos will be 1080 p, which is astonishing to know that the phone is capable of a number of other things as well. It will be able to record the 3-D videos in 720 p HD format. It can then be shared using the HDMI port that comes inbuilt with the phone. Even though this is not the full size HDMI port, LG is going to provide a HDMI converter in order to use the normal HDMI cable with the phone. There will be no loss of digital information while doing this process.

The phone can, not only record the 3-D videos, but also play back them as well quite easily due to the presence of the dual core 1 GHz processor. It is almost similar in terms of specifications to the processor that is used in the LG Optimus 2X, albeit with some minor changes. The LG Optimus 3D will be priced at £ 515 in the United Kingdom and the release date is set for 25th April. Considering the limitless possibilities of the phone, this seems to be a small price to pay.
