As per the increasing rate or new variant of Omicron, Authorities have announced new restrictions in which one cannot perform consecutive Umrah one after another. They have to wait for 10 days according to the permit.
A Pilgrim has to visit a care center in Makah six hours before Umrah. Authorities will check the status of vaccination and isolation and provide a bracelet to wear after verification. Pilgrim then has to present this bracelet and abide by the date and time allocated to him.

Registration for Vaccinated Pilgrims:
Pilgrim vaccination status must be registered on Saudi Arabia’s Muqeem Portal 72 hours before departure
A vaccination certificate must be duly attested by the origin country’s health authorities. Failure to comply with all the above-mentioned rules will result in rejection for Umrah entry.

Quarantine rules:
Quarantine is not required if a pilgrim has followed the vaccination process authorized by Saudi authorities. Other than the authorized vaccination a pilgrim has to go for three days isolation process. Pilgrim must produce a PCR test result showing negative COVID-19.

Tawakkalna App:
The Tawakkalna and Eatmarna apps are introduced by Saudi Govt. These are the only official portals that issue and verify genuine permits. A pilgrim must have to visit a health care center if his health condition has not registered into the Tawakkalna app. Saudi Govt. warned pilgrims or avoid any shady website.
