Well, that is not a typo. We are talking about a cannabis-infused beverage. If you are an experienced cannabis user, chances are, you’ve taken every particular product it comes in. From cannabis flower, tinctures, vape juices and other cannabis edibles that were brought out in the market. But what we didn’t expect, is that cannabis drinks can be made possible, too.

Cannabis beverages may seem to be as simple as it sounds but that isn’t the case. Way back then, these beverages needed fatty components for it to dissolve well which resulted in few combinations. So, how does cannabis beverages are made?

How it works…

It starts with a distillate. As the word itself, the distillate is made from the process called distillation. This process involves purification of the liquid by removing the other components. On the other hand, the level of CBD or THC varies on the starting materials used to make it.

Types of beverages…

The ones we have on the market can range from CBD isolate alone or a distillate with both CBD and THC on them which is then mixed with other liquids. There ...
... might have been instances that the drink can get anyone high but it is strictly to include only up to 10 mg of THC per package. When compared with the dried version such as cannabis flower at 30 mg, it is still the same. This is also listed in the packaging so every user is aware.

How long it lasts…

It doesn’t work the same way as smoking and vaping. As it is ingested and goes to our digestive system, it works the same as cannabis edibles. It may take up to 30-120 minutes for the effects to set in but it will last longer for up to 12 hours. As cannabis may have a different effect on every user, we advise to take it slowly.

Buying online…

A lot of online retailers are offering cannabis beverages today but one should be wary which company to go with. As these drinks do not contain fatty ingredients, some of the retailers do gimmicks of it by adding some form of hot milk product into it. Thankfully, one company in Ontario, Canada does have the right technology to make it. Sativa Bliss makes sure that they are offering not just quality cannabis products online but also done in the right methodology.

As medical and recreational cannabis is made legal throughout Canada, you can spot any store and buy without any problem at all. Cannabis beverages can only be bought in any top dispensaries in Ontario today but maybe in the future, liquor stores will be able to offer it as well.

It takes a lot of responsibility to try out products that aren't usually offered in the market like cannabis. So, never try to mix any cannabis-infused beverages or even other products like hemp flower strains, cannabis tea, and other cannabis edibles. If ever you’ve tried a cannabis drink, be sure it is from a legit company like Sativa Bliss and just piece of advice, drink it within limits.
