Select any image that you want to import.The steps to start a new project are:Locate the ‘Photo’ option in the upper-right corner of the screen and click on the same.Select an image from the new window.Creating a New Project Canvas and Creating a New Custom CanvasThe steps to create a new project canvas are:Locate the ‘+’ icon in the top-right corner of the screen and click on the same.The ‘New Canvas’ pane will open. Select a Preset from the same. For instance, 4K, 6X4, etc.The steps to create a new custom canvas are:Click on the ‘+’ icon in the top-right corner.The ‘New Canvas’ pane will open. Click on the ‘New Canvas’ icon in the upper-right corner of the pane to open the Custom Canvas window.You can select the dimensions in the Custom Canvas window, such as cm, mm, inches, or pixels. Thus, these dimensions will determine the layers available in your project. Notably, a stronger iPad and smaller dimensions result in more layers at your disposal.Additionally, if you’re creating a Custom Canvas, Color Profile, and settings to the Time-Lapse Video Recording can be changed accordingly.Setting the StageOnce the canvas is created, there are a lot of menu options available. These menu options are:Gallery: The Gallery option enables you to get back to the menu screen and begin a new artwork.Actions: The Actions menu has further sub-menus; for instance, Add, Video, Canvas, Share, Preferences, and Help.Adjustments: The Adjustments menu contains options like Color and Lighting Adjustments, Special Effects, Blurring, and Selection. Move: You can move selected artwork anywhere using this option.Brush Library: It contains brushes to create artwork, like pens, digital brushes, and pencils.Smudge: This option allows you to blur or smudge the areas of your artwork.Layers: It is the area you use to create artwork.Eraser: If you want to remove any artwork from the selected layer, the Eraser tool comes in handy.Colors/Palettes: You can select the colors to create your artwork using the palette.Additionally, the ‘Add’ menu in the ‘Actions’ section contains options like inserting images, text, and more. Inserting images also enable you to resize the same. On the other hand, using text allows you to change its formatting.
