The Playa del Carmen Real Estate industry is closely tied to its sister industry - tourism. In Playa del Carmen, both are currently thriving and becoming favorites for Americans and Canadians, not only within Mexico, but on an international level. Many of the services and benefits property owners in Playa del Carmen enjoy stem from the heavy investment in tourism infrastructure, and in turn the tourism industry provides excellent opportunities for real estate investment.

Also, in a national level tourism push, Playa del Carmen's industry will gain considerable benefit as one of Mexico's top choices, consequently providing further real estate growth and investment opportunities.

While Playa del Carmen saw a real estate "boom" in the mid 2000's the current initiatives paired along with the special positioning which this area has in the tourism and real estate industry indicate that real estate opportunities promise excellent growth in the area.
