Diabetic retinopathy occurs due to the damaged condition of the blood vessels of the retina.  For a few months, some patients may see a particular pattern made by laser on the retina
 Some patients may suffer from bleeding. They may see objects are floating in their vision
 At the center of the vision, a small yet permanent blind spot
 As an effect of eye injection, your eyes may become itchy or dry or watery
 Steroid injections can increase the pressure within the eye
 Eye surgery may cause an eye infection

Whatever the side effect or complication is, it is always advisable to have a talk with your eye specialist regarding diabetic retinopathy treatment; visit your eye specialists on a regular time interval.
