A laboratory is a place equipped with various facilities, scientific and technological expertise that allows conduction of different experiments and measurements. It offers a host of services and is extremely beneficial for the identification and the necessary treatment of various ailments. Their services are diverse and can be summarised as follows-

Along with other services, laboratories also provide the facility and the services which diagnose any deficiency of the immune system. Any laboratory will offer a wide range of comprehensive tests that would identify the presence of any form of immunity deficiency and trigger necessary medication to treat it.

Laboratories help in the process of blood cell transplants by providing cell manipulation.

In spite of these specific functions that any laboratory needs to perform, the responsibility for the accuracy of the result does not solely depend on the staff or the laboratory. Rather the responsibility must be shared equally by the patients as well. Each test entails certain precautions which must be observed carefully to get the best results.
