Owning to globalization, almost all aspects of our lives have undergone a massive change. Even the choice of games for children has not been left untouched. In this modern era, the children are more into varied adventurous and challenging games. Consequently, the shooting games have gone in high demand both in virtual and real format. Thus, varied airsoft guns game has become popular. These are military sports which being extremely edgy, enticing and challenging, is loved by both adults and children in equal measure.

The game requires airsoft guns which are available in three major varieties:- electric powered guns, the spring power guns and the gas powered guns in manual, semiautomatic and automatic modes. Of the three, Airsoft guns gas is the most highly demanded. These mostly use a mixture of polysiloxane lubricant and propane, commonly referred to a ‘green gas’. Less prevalent is the ‘red gas’ which is actually a chlorofluorocarbon. This gas is banned in many countries owning to its ozone-depleting properties as ...
... well as the compressed carbon dioxide, nitrogen/air. The compressed gases require high operating pressures which inadvertently damage the guns, especially its bolts and slide. Let’s understand why this pistol is so very popular –

A critical advantage that gas pistols have over spring pistols is that unlike them which are limited to single use shot, they can be easily used for semi and fully automatic procedure. They do not require to be tensioned again like the spring guns after every single shot.

What enhances the excitement factor about airsoft gas guns is that they are the carbon copy of an original pistol in terms of looks. Though an electric airsoft pistol cannot be truly replicated, the gas guns are as close as you can get to them. The electric mechanism cannot be incorporated in quite a few pistols owning to the dimension demands required by their design but gas guns provide the best considerations.

Another benefit that stands out in the gas guns is the ‘blowback mechanism’. While this system may attract some extra pennies and is not available for many propane markers, it gives you an authentic and genuine feel of the gun which makes the extra cost worth paying. With an airsoft gas gun with blowback mechanism, each slide moves back after each shot to give you the recoil effect-so like the real gun.

While enjoying its advantages; it’s best to keep in mind their cons as well. They have a more complex mechanism than spring guns and have an inherent potential problem due to the extra cold gas in it in liquefied state which tends to cool down the gun mechanism and affect its firing rate and range. But, nothing matches its authenticity and versatility.
