My mother always told me that it was easy to save money and keep a savings account once I reached the magic number of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000). I have to admit that I saw nothing special about the number. Moms have a way of setting magical numbers that start to mean something special to us. I decided to sell my gold to reach the magic number.
