Tailor Your Mba According To Your Needs With Distance Learning
Distance learning has been around since the mid-19th century. At that time, there was only postal communication that acted as a bridge to correspond between students and teachers. With the passing time and developing technology, distance learning also evolved side by side and now, with the prevalence of the internet, it has grown into a preferred mode of study for those who cannot be present physically in the class for varied reasons. Today, distance learning is widespread in the countries of UK, USA, India, Australia and several others, with undergraduate, degree, certificate, and diploma courses on a multitude of subjects and streams.
Having a good qualification is not anymore perceived as a requisite to achieve handsome credentials but also an indispensable issue in order to ascend in one's professional life. On the other hand, only the qualification cannot provide the dream position one wants in his career, experience is also a vital criterion to get to the desired level which a full-time, regular mode of study cannot provide. A distance learning degree offers both. You ...
... can get the essential experience from your work and simultaneously, you can study to achieve the qualification so needed. Attendance is needless and so is dress code; not to mention time limits.
Of all the distance learning courses taught today, the MBA is by far the most favored choice among students from all parts of the world. While the traditional MBA taught in land-based B-schools have a typical 2 year pattern, Distance learning MBA comes flexible as a 10 months, 6 months or just a few weeks long program to cater to the diverse needs of busy managers. These programs are also known as part-time MBA or Executive MBA that allow the learner to tailor the course suiting to his needs.
The area of specialization varies from one university to another but the basic business areas that are included in the course module remain the same, that is to say finance, marketing and HR (Human Resources).
Other business areas that are taught in an MBA course irrespective of the learning mode are- accounting, supply chain management, production and operations management, information systems, organizational behavior, business law and ethics, economics, statistics and quantitative analysis etc.
