1829 is that year which holds great importance in the Indian Golfing History. From The Royal Calcutta, India now have some beautiful golf courses to offer the golfers. Amongst all these courses, these are the Top 5 Golf Courses of India.
1. DLF Country Club:
Set in the beautiful backdrop of Aravali mountain range is DLF Golf & Country Club. This 140 acres wide golf course is built by the construction giant DLF developers. This 18-hole golf course has fairways consisting of 5 manmade lakes and various streams. Out of 18, 8 holes are placed in a manner to make the challenge tough for the golfers.

4. Delhi Golf Course:
Based in the heart of India is this magnificent Delhi Golf Course. 100 years after formation of The Royal Calcutta, came this club. Situated amongst the tombs of Moghul Emperors, is this two part course. Part A which is the main golf course consists of 18 holes and part B has 9 holes. It is also known as the Peacock Course.

5. Karnataka Golf Association:
Set in the 124 acre in Challaghatta close Bangalore city centre. It took 13 long years for the Karnataka Golf Association to finally give the green signal to this project and that was the year of 1986. This course has gone thru some bad days. Prior to 2008, flooding was a common scenario. In 2008 some significant modifications were made and since then it has never faced this problem again.
