Pagosa Springs is located at the southern border of Colorado and just to the east of the Southern Ute Indian Reservation. Interstate 160 runs through the middle of Pagosa Springs making travel in and around the community very easy. The community is full of hiking trails, campgrounds, and tourist attractions making it a very active community to visit and live. There are several home divisions that families and home buyers will find full of amenities and close to outdoor activities and indoor attractions. Pagosa Springs is a mix of different cultures and backgrounds making it a very interesting place to see and live. One of the biggest benefits to living in this area are the spectacular scenic views.

Homes and neighborhoods

Pagosa Springs is next to or includes communities like Lake Forest Estates, Lake Hatcher Park, Knolls Ranch, Aspen Springs, Echo Canyon Ranches, and many other neighborhoods. Homes in this area can range from a small ranch style home to a large horse farm and everything in-between. Amenities for these homes can include over-sized rooms, scenic views, wood burning fireplaces, covered decks, pool ...
... tables, gaming rooms, extra large showers, and large windows. There are large families, small families, and single family homes that make up the community in Pagosa Springs; it includes a mix of backgrounds, lifestyles, and careers.

Outdoor activities and recreational facilities

Pagosa Springs real estate allows home buyers to be close to hot springs, natural spas, and man-made spa retreats. This area has a lot of outdoor activities like hiking, hunting, fishing, picnicking, sightseeing, boating, swimming, and bird watching. Visitors and residents can find plenty of wildlife parks, resorts, golf courses, RV parks, bed and breakfasts, and guided tours to choose from. In the winter, skiing, ice skating, snowboarding, and snowmobiling are very popular among the locals. One of the most popular activities is spending time in the hot springs as a healing therapy. There are many hot springs and healing centers in and around the Pagosa Springs area. There are also a lot of local art festivals to attend in the summer and fall months with sporting competitions to watch in the winter.

Indoor activities

Pagosa Springs is home to a very wide range of art galleries and creative venues. Art museums, historical tours, fine art galleries, and plenty of shopping help keep people active when they don't want to spend time in the snow or cold. Shopping is never boring with several types of places like gift stores, sporting goods stores, clothing shops, interior design stores, thrift stores, and rental shops. There are also a wide range of restaurants to try out with Mexican food fares, coffee shops, bar and grills, ice cream shops, and deli's.
