FC Barcelona is probably the most popular sport club in the world at the moment. Their football team won everything last year. La Liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League are cups that are placed in their museum. They were the first team in Spanish history to be able to achieve that. Also, their basketball team is doing good too, both in the Spanish league and the international scene.

New coach, Pep Guardiola, took over last year. While many people doubted his qualities and didn't think that he will be able to achieve much as he is completely inexperienced, he proved them the opposite. He managed to win everything. Of course, he has a great group of players available. The best player in the world, Lionel Messi, the best midfielder in the world, Xavi, and one of the best defensive midfielders in the world, Yaya Toure. That's why he always says that the successes aren't his merit, but players'.

The new season has started already, and FC Barcelona is doing pretty good. They have already won two more trophies this season (Spanish Super Cup and European Super Cup). The first two games in the La Liga were a piece of cake, ...
... as they won 3-0 and 2-0, and kept a clean sheet. The first game in the Champions League was a big one, against Inter Milan. They played in Milan and drew, although they were very close to winning.

The season has just begun, and it's too early to judge whether it will be successful or not. However, given the strength of the squad that Barca has, this should be another very successful season for them.
