There are lot of things to be taken into consideration while going for snorkelling. You need to know all of them in detail to avoid dangers. Let us go through some of the most useful tips which will help you to keep safe ...
... under any conditions and enjoy the most of it. Here we go...

1. Carry the best floating equipments

Do not get carried away by the low price equipments; they are made up of bad quality materials which are quite a risky to use. If you are a novice swimmer, your body is not buoyant yet so you need to carry jacket or a raft to maintain buoyancy. The equipments like wings are available for children. Also, wear your wetsuits and masks properly and get ready with fins and snorkel so that you are all set to initiate the amazing underwater session. If your mask is new, apply tooth paste or dish soap and rinse with water to remove the manufacturing chemicals on its surface. This will prevent it from fogging up.

2. Practice first:

Before you go for real snorkelling into the ocean, practice it into the pool or a shallow beach with a trainer so that if something goes wrong, he is there with you to save you from all the dangers. Learn from them not only the basic skills of snorkelling, but also how to save you if anything goes wrong.

3. Follow rules:
Get to know all the rules and regulations before you get into water. You are not allowed to touch the fishes or turtles. All you can do is touching the rocks and sand, that too with your fins. Read the manual and get to know how to take breaks without standing.

4. Keep calm:

Although it is one of the most obvious tips, yet most tourists fail to follow it. The non swimmers are already afraid of the deep water areas. In such cases, if they panic, it will be even more difficult for them. So, do not fear, keep calm and go on. It will help you to move smoothly inside water. You will miss to see all the most beautiful things in the world if you are stressed.

5. Stay together:
If you have gone with your group, stay together. Click the pictures when you go deep down to capture the amazing memories that will last forever. Learn the actions and signs so that you can communicate with each other.
I hope the above mentioned tips help you a lot to gather the strength and confidence to get ready for snorkelling. Go for it! Have a happy and a safe trip! Good luck!
