Excellent Organza Sarees

Organza is a thin, sheer fabric, traditionally woven from silk. It is also woven from synthetic fabric materials like polyester or nylon. It is mainly used to make smooth feel fabrics of style. Organza assumes a feel from very smooth to slightly coarse based on how finely it is woven, is dull in appearance and does not reflect light as well as silk. Despite its thin and delicate appearance it has good tensile strength.
Organza is primarily used in the making of evening dresses, sarees, bridal trousseaus. It also serves well for dress trimmings and inner linings in ready fabrics. The fineness of the fabric allows prints and text to be transferred onto the fabric directly. Graphical images and many other effects may be superimposed on top of a textured background, creating a magical illusory effect.
Weaving of Silk organza is still popular in China, Italy and France. In India, apparel and other organza fabric items are woven using nylon and polyester, mainly due to the ease of availability and from an economic point of view. Chiffon and Organza are like cousins with similarity in appearance and very little distinguishing ...
... features. But only to the discerning eye, are the differences visible.
Organdy or Organdie is also a sheer, crisp fabric. Only that it is made from cotton and has very many similarities to organza which is made from silk. The Saree is the traditional fabric of many states in India and a national heritage. It provides the largest fabric canvas for the fine display of art through a judicious use of designs, patterns, colours, images, embellishments in different weaving and dyeing styles.
Organza sarees are sheer marvels. The forest green organza saree has self colour checks with multicolored patch work and embroidery border on either side covering the entire length of the saree, including the designer pallu. A modern style delight, it serves equally well for traditional meets as well as social outings.
The mango yellow Organza saree with self checks, multi-colour patch border with embroidery throughout the length of the saree is a traditional but trending organza offering. Its bright display and intricate handiwork are an appealing combination that goes well with traditional functions, social events and parties.
Organza is a thin, plain weave, sheer fabric traditionally made from silk. They are woven from thin continuous filaments of silkworms. Many modern organzas are woven with synthetic filament fibers such as polyester or nylon. Silk organza is woven by a number of mills along the Yangtze River and in the province of Zhejiang in China. A coarser silk organza is woven in the Bangalore area of India. Deluxe silk organzas are woven in France and Italy. Organza is used for bridal wear and eveningwear. In the interiors market it is used for effects in bedrooms and between rooms. Double-width organzas in viscose and acetate are used as sheer curtains. Organza can be run through a computer so this thin sheer fabric can be used in your art. You can print images or text and it is perfect when you want a dreamy illusive interpretation of an image that can be placed on top of a textured background. After printing the image on organic sheets, the threads on the side must be pulled to make them fray so that the edges may be softened. Organdy or organdie is the sheerest and crispest cotton cloth made. Combed yarns contribute to its appearance. Organdy is a balanced plain weave.[2] Because of its stiffness and fiber content, it is very prone to wrinkling. Organza is the filament yarn counterpart to organdy. Its sheerness and crispness are the result of an acid finish on greige (unbleached or grey/beige) lawn goods. It comes in three types of finishes: "Stiff" is most commonly used, but "Semi stiff" and "Soft" finishes are also available. The latter two finishes are more popular for summer wear and draped apparel whereas the first is more popular for loose apparel and home textiles such as dresses and curtains.
