The world has seen many eras with distinctive cultures, traditions, and values. Each era represents its own economic, social and moral implications. The clothing of every bygone period reflects the unique beauty of it. Today's people should know about the bygone eras' dressing styles, not only for knowledge but also for exploring the diverse clothes and accessories that those people used to adorn themselves with and how ‘fashion' has evolved.

The ancient clothing:

Egypt was prominent among the ancient civiliasations of the world. The ancient clothing of Egypt consisted of a wrapped loincloth for men and for women, a one-piece, narrow sheath of transparent linen was the regular dress. It later became a highly decorative dress made of fluted linen. The wig also became a part of clothes. Other ancient civilizations like Greece had an inclination towards draping. The regular Greek dress was in the form of a graceful draping. Romans also preferred simple dress called the toga.

Medieval clothing:

The medieval period is admired for its charm, mystery, and grace. The medieval European Udklædning ...
... saw a drastic change after the crusades. The fine fabrics from the east became available in Europe. By the beginning of the 14th century, tailoring had come into existence and the use of buttons became indispensable for its ornamental purpose as well as utility. In 1350, the overcoat came into being and women's dresses became exaggerated and headgear became a must. However, post-renaissance clothing evolved into a square-look. Men's clothes became wide, with square-shoulders and puffed sleeves and women wore square-necked gowns with the front open. 16th century clothes were stiff and looked less bulky whereas the 17th century dress was less formal and much softer. Men's attire comprised of full trunk hose, high boots, a broad, falling lace or linen collar and cuffs, and a full cloak and for women, flared, pleated, or ruffled skirt like dresses came about and the arms began to be displayed. In the 18th century, France became the world's style center, with the wig, and flower-patterned silks and embroidery. Men in the 18th century sported knee-length cassocks, long waistcoat, and buckled knee breeches.

Halloween:

It is the season when everybody yearns to dress up as witches, ghosts, and goblins. Especially children wait eagerly to celebrate Halloween with scary outfits since they love to portray themselves as little monsters when they go for trick-or-treat. Scary kostumer for children are widely available today. It's the perfect time to find dresses for everyone. The right attire creates the mood and ambience of the party. Everybody looks extravagant in scary outfits. If you have kids who are about 11-15 years of age, consider asking them what they would like to wear this year. Kids of this age group tend to state their own opinion and choices about everything, especially when it comes to dresses and accessories.

Even adults also like to dress up in different funny and scary costumes. They host parties in their households itself or attend parties in other people's residences, having great time with the hilarious Spøg og skæmt .The outfits can be professional attire such as draftsmen, nurse, laborer, plumber, postman or magician. Or they can simply be fantasy characters from famous stories like genie, Aladdin, Sinbad, or comic characters like spider man, super man, batman, cat woman, wolverine etc. The list is endless, so are the choices available for you. All you need to do is pick and choose.
