Of all the things that could be thought of as indicators of the eras of history, women’s clothing and style is something which cannot be overlooked. Be it the stone age or the imperial times of Britain, or the clothes of the queens of the Mughal empire, or the popular hairstyles and retro clothes of the 70’s and 80’s or the dresses of the yet fledgling 21st century, all of them distinctively describe the culture of the respective periods. Thus the importance of women’s clothing couldn’t be stressed enough.

In the previous times the new fashion trends have spread through fashion shows, articles in newspapers and magazines or simply by watching people dress in new and innovative styles. However in the 21st century of information age, where everyone whose is not living under a rock, so to speak, has access to internet in some or other way, the latest fashion trends spread through various fashion blogs online articles and videos. There are a number of things that are a part of women’s fashion and clothing like shoes, bags, accessories. Women like to style themselves based on the latest fashion trends, nobody wants to be called old fashioned. But the fact of the matter is that there is no such thing as old fashion because what might be called old fashion by some might just be the latest trend for another just like the old cliché one man’s music is another man’s noise. Unique fashion collections are launched by fashion designers helping in setting the trends. These collections are comprised of clothes, bags, shoes, accessories etc.

Women’s clothing has a wide range. It includes formal clothes like suits, shirts, trousers, then there are the casual and party wear, bikinis and even lingerie, though this might astonish some that there are women who need fashionable clothes even for sleeping but then tall stands the cliché. The fashion shoes, refers to all kinds of footwear like shoes, slippers, sandals. These form a very important part of women’s fashion and women’s clothing , because footwear plays and integral role in projecting a personality and also in setting the trends. There are new and unique designs coming up throughout the year. Now we all know the women can’t live without their all so precious bags. So no fashion show, or fashion blog or fashion article is complete without fashion bags. These bags are of all kinds and colour, some are in accordance with the dresses they are launched with. Fashion accessories also play a key part in setting the trends because if used wisely they can even make an average dress look exceedingly well and so women love to experiment with accessories.

Thus the bottom line remains that women’s fashion and fashion trends in women’s clothing can never be made static, every time something new comes up it will show its dynamic nature.
